Corrosion in the Water Industry

Corrosion in the Water Industry took place Mar 9–12, 2026 in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. It was a Course event for corrosion and materials science professionals in the Africa region. This course explains how corrosion threatens pipelines, tanks, treatment plants, and networks, and then builds fundamentals in electricity, chemistry, electrochemistry, cathodic protection, coatings, integrity surveys, inspection, and maintenance. Aimed at engineers, technicians, municipalities, and asset managers, it focuses on practical protection of critical water infrastructure.
